Run an Ad in the Chamber Directory
The Chamber directory is printed once a year and is distributed to all Chamber members, including those who join throughout the year. Ad sizes range from logo listings to full page color, and also vary in price. Ad sales begin in October and are handled by ECM publishers. This directory is one of the most powerful tools representatives have, and our members tell us all the time that they use it on a daily basis.
Our newly designed Chamber Website plus our new unique tourism website www.VisitAppleValley.com gives visitor-related businesses maximum visibility. The Chamber’s visitor site is advertised nationally in order to try and capture visitors visiting the Mall of America, IKEA and Minnesota Zoo to hub from centrally located Apple Valley just minutes from both but away from the loud freeways.
Run an Ad in the Resident Guide
Every couple of years, the Chamber puts together what we call a Resident Guide. It is a laminated, tri-fold reference guide that lists ONLY Apple Valley Chamber members and their phone numbers, organized by category. It’s mailed first class to every home, townhome, condo and apartment in Apple Valley and is accordion fold for easy storage in car visors, on the fridge, etc. It reaches over 20,000 homes and 52,000 customers! FUN FACT: The Apple Valley Chamber won the Minnesota Chamber’s “Best New Idea” award at their State Convention for this simple Resident Guide. Even other cities like Mankato, Lakeville and Waconia have successfully asked for and copied our idea, which is the greatest form of flattery.
Run an Ad in “Apple Slices”
The Chamber e-Newsletter goes out every week and reaches over 900 people. It features what is happening around town, new businesses, businesses closing, reinvesting, promotions, new management or other items of interest to our members. Even the City often comments on how each week, there are so many items which they had no idea. This is the “GO-TO PLACE” for what is happening. You’ll know first as a member.
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to put an ad in the email. You can put an ad in once a week or once a year – there is no limit. There are 2 ad sizes: 2×6 ($20) or 4×6 ($40). Ad sizes are approximate. You can advertise upcoming events, special deals, coupons, awards, special announcements, etc. This is a great (and cheap) way to keep your name top-of-mind any time of year.

Each luncheon presents an opportunity for a member to be a sponsor. Luncheon sponsorship is an investment of $250, and includes a display table by the front door, recognition in the luncheon program, recognition in Apple Slices (e-Newsletter), and 5 minutes to introduce yourself and your business prior to the keynote speaker.
